![]() ![]() (In fact, I don't know if it can be done at all.) If anyone has any advice about getting the desk to manipulate plugins in Reaper, I'd love to know. So, my question is: does anyone know anything about getting the FW-1884's EQ controls to communicate with any EQ plugin in Reaper? The desk's EQ has 4 bands.Īlso, because reverb is the effect I use most (by a long shot), the same question would apply to that - I would like to get the desk communicating with the variables of a reverb plugin. However, because Reaper lacks in-channel EQ, the controls on the desk (Gain, Freq, Q) do nothing. The FW-1884 has an EQ section, which I have got working nicely in Cubase LE (which came bundled with the desk). That's today's project, as soon as I can get kids out of my hair. The basic controls and the faders all work, although I haven't as yet looked at getting automation working. As far as I can tell, everything is working as it should. ![]() I have a new Tascam FW-1884 desk (very nice so far), and I have successfully got Reaper communicating with it as a control surface.
